The Triggers and Coping Skills worksheet will help your clients learn about their triggers, and possible coping skills, related to addictions. The discussion of triggers is a standard part of most substance use treatments. This worksheet approaches the topic by asking clients to discuss people, places, and things that act as triggers, and then asking them to generate ideas of how to deal with this particular situations. We recommend this worksheet as the basis for a group discussion about triggers.
